Working Rights
To be considered for an Assignment, it is necessary that the On-Hire Employee or Nominated Person is either an Australian or a New Zealand citizen or is in possession of an appropriate working visa. To verify your work rights status you will need to provide the following documentation prior to commencement of employment:
a) If you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen you must provide proof of your citizenship
b) If you are an Australian permanent resident you must provide proof of your residency status
c) If you are not an Australian or a New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident, then you must provide proof of your Australian working rights
Pace will check your Rights to Work in Australia. If you are a permanent resident of Australia or a non-citizen, Pace will use the Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) process. A copy of your current passport will be required to undertake this
As an On-Hire Employee of Pace you are required to hold and maintain working rights for Australia. If at any time, your Visa is cancelled, you do not provide appropriate evidence of work rights or we become aware that your working rights have been revoked or never valid, your assignment will immediately come to an end without notice.

The relevant state Health & Safety Acts stipulate that our company has a duty of care to our clients to ensure so far as is practicable that any candidate submitted is safe and that there are no risks to their health while at work.
